The professional extraction and processing method ensures an optimal and safe composition for cosmetic and food products. With a high purity of 99% and organic quality derived from vegetable oils, it is an ideal complement for various types of organic products. One biological method of producing glycerin involves using organic flaxseed. Organic vegetable glycerin is obtained through the hydrolysis of vegetable oils and fats. It was reportedly discovered over 200 years ago by the Swedish pharmacist and chemist Scheele during a saponification process using olive oil. In production, oil-rich vegetable fats are mixed under pressure with a strong alkali, separating the glycerin from the fatty acids. Due to its properties similar to alcohol — being soluble in both fats and water — glycerin is ideal for extracting a wide variety of plant compounds. In addition to its preservative qualities, glycerin also has hygroscopic properties and a mild antimicrobial effect.
