September

10. Oktober 2023

It originally comes from the temperate regions of Asia, particularly China, but is now cultivated in many parts of the world. Annual mugwort is distinguished by its characteristic fragrance, often described as aromatic and refreshing. Its scent combines spicy, herbal, and slightly sweet notes that appeal to many people. The plant grows best in temperate to subtropical climates and prefers well-drained soil and sufficient sunlight. It can be cultivated both in pots and in gardens. Regular watering and removing weeds help ensure optimal development.   Product advice and orders: +49(0)3327 4372 090   Organic Vegetable Glycerin as Extraction Medium Organic glycerin, also known as vegetable glycerol, is a transparent liquid with a viscous consistency and a mild, slightly sweet taste. The professional extraction and processing method ensures an optimal and safe composition for cosmetic and food products. With a high purity of 99% and organic quality derived from vegetable oils, it is an ideal complement for various types of organic products. One biological method of producing glycerin involves using organic flaxseed. Organic vegetable glycerin is obtained through the hydrolysis of vegetable oils and fats. It was reportedly discovered over 200 years ago by the Swedish pharmacist and chemist Scheele during a saponification process using olive oil. In production, oil-rich vegetable fats are mixed under pressure with a strong alkali, separating the glycerin from the fatty acids. Due to its properties similar to alcohol — being soluble in both fats and water — glycerin is ideal for extracting a wide variety of plant compounds. In addition to its preservative qualities, glycerin also has hygroscopic properties and a mild antimicrobial effect. Thanks to its organic quality and proper dosage, organic glycerin can be safely used in food products. Our organic glycerin is made exclusively from certified organic raw materials and is palm-oil free.   Application – Artemisia annua Please note that Artemisia annua may currently not be sold as a food product in the EU according to the Novel Food Regulation. For use as a room aroma. Open the 100 ml Miron violet glass bottle and place the desired number of fragrance sticks into the bottle neck — the number of sticks determines the intensity of the aroma in the room. Artemisia annua leaves are excellent for incense burning. For best results, we recommend the following steps: Prepare a fireproof incense bowl by sprinkling a little sand inside. Carefully light an incense charcoal from the side over a flame. Once the spark has traveled about halfway through the charcoal and it starts to glow, place it on the sand in the bowl. Wait until the spark has spread through the entire charcoal. Then sprinkle about three pinches of Artemisia annua leaves on top. Gently waft the rising smoke through the room using a fan or feather. When the herbal scent fades, carefully remove the residue from the charcoal with a knife and add fresh leaves. Ensure good ventilation by opening a window to let the smoke disperse. After burning, extinguish the charcoal with water or let it cool completely before disposing of it. A typical incense session lasts between ten and twenty minutes, depending on the amount used. Enjoy the relaxing and soothing atmosphere created by the incense smoke. Ingredients Annual mugwort leaves (Artemisia annua)*.*from our own cultivation.
